Kurumoch International Airport is one of the largest regional air ports of Russia in terms of passenger traffic; it is part of Airports of Regions.

    • In 2015, the Kurumoch airport business lounge won the international Best Office Awards in the category “Design Idea”.

    • In 2015, Kurumoch airport was successfully re-audited and confirmed the compliance with ISAGO (IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations) international safety standards. 

    • In 2016, Kurumoch irport entered the top three of the best airports in Russia according to Skyscanner passengers

    • In 2017, Kurumoch irport entered the best world airports ranking made by agency Skytrax as part of the World Airport Awards. Samara airport took the eighth place in the category “The Best Airport of a Macro-Region of Russia and the CIS” and the third place in the category “The Best Regional Airport of the Macro-Region of Russia and the CIS”.

    • In June 2017, Kurumoch airport received 4 stars according to the Skytrax rating.

    • In 2018, Kurumoch airport took the third place in the category “The Best Regional Airport of Russia and the CIS” as part of the Skytrax World Airport Awards-2018
